China just became the world's third largest arms exporter

According to the statistics released today by the research organisation in Sweden,China just surpassed Germany in becoming the world's third best largest arms exporter though the United States and Russia remain the dominant sellers of weapons throughout the world. 
   During the year 2010--2014,Stockholm International Peace Institute said China surpassed Germany with just approximately five per cent of total exports for that period.Although its share of overall sales remained small,sipri said ''China exports increased by 143 per cent in 2010 to 2014,compared with the prev 5yrs period''.
  Arms exports by the United States increased by 23 per cent over the prev 5yrs;Russia exports also increased by 37 percent...But after global arms sales fell over most of the 1980s and 1990s,they have increased in recent years,with the 2010--2014 vol 16 per cent higher than that of the previous 5yrs,according to the report

Reportedly 15yr old missing girl found

The 15 year old girl, Paulina Ojeka Ogwuledwu, who went missing in Ogba on January 14th (Read here) has been found. According to the girl's uncle, Pastor Akinlade, she returned home on Friday January 30th with the intent of parking her things to go live with a man she'd met at a bus park.

When interrogated, Paulina said she'd gone to live with him in his house in Ishaga Lagos after she ran away from home. She's currently undergoing rehabilitation...see the small sha
